Returns and Refund Policy

• An order can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before it ships.
• Unopened, unused, sealed items can be returned within 30 days of purchase, with a return authorization.
• Opened or unsealed research materials cannot be returned. Those sales are final.
• Anything damaged, incorrect, or missing is put right at our expense when it is reported within 7 days.

Write to support@labchecked.com with your order number as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been dispatched we will cancel it and refund it in full. Once the parcel has been handed to the carrier the order can no longer be cancelled, and it is handled as a return under section 3 or, if something is wrong with it, under section 5.

We may also cancel an order ourselves, before or after payment, where an item is unavailable, where a payment or address check fails, where we suspect fraud, or where we believe delivery would be unlawful at the destination. A cancelled order is refunded in full.

A recurring order can be skipped or cancelled from your account at any time before the next order is created. Once an order has been created from a recurring schedule, it is treated like any other order under this policy.

Because these are research materials whose handling conditions cannot be verified once they leave us, we accept returns only where the item is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging, and the return is authorized within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Start the return by email before sending anything back (see section 6). On receipt we inspect the item, and where it meets the conditions above we issue a refund of the purchase price. Original shipping charges are not refunded, and return shipping is your responsibility unless the return is because of our error.

We do not offer exchanges. If you need a different item, return the original under this section and place a new order.

• Any item that has been opened, unsealed, punctured, reconstituted, or otherwise used. The sale of an opened research material is final.
• Any item whose storage and handling since delivery cannot be verified, including an item returned without authorization.
• Items returned after the 30 day window, and items returned without their original packaging, lot marking, or labelling.
• Custom, made-to-order, or specially sourced items identified as such at the time of purchase.

An unauthorized return may be refused, returned to sender, or refunded only in part, at our discretion.

If an order arrives damaged, if the wrong item was sent, or if something is missing, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will put it right at our expense. Send the order number, a description of the problem, and photographs of the outer packaging and the contents where there is visible damage.

Where the claim is accepted we replace the affected items or refund them, at our option, including the shipping you paid on them. Keep the packaging and the contents until the claim is resolved, because the carrier may need to inspect them. Shipments that do not arrive at all are covered by our Shipping Policy, under the same reporting window.

Email support@labchecked.com with the word RETURN in the subject line, and include:

• your order number and the email address used on the order,
• the items you want to return and the quantity of each,
• the reason for the return, and
• photographs, where the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

We reply with a return authorization (RMA) number and the address to send to. Write the RMA number on the outside of the parcel and include it with the contents. Do not send anything back before you have an RMA number: parcels that arrive without one cannot be matched to an order and may be refused.

Send the return with a tracked service and keep the tracking number. Until the parcel reaches us, it is your responsibility.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not refund to a different card, account, or person, and we do not issue cash refunds.

We issue the refund once the return has been received and inspected, or once a damage or loss claim has been accepted. After we issue it, the credit usually appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank. The final part of that timing belongs to the issuer, not to us.

A refund covers the purchase price of the returned items. Original shipping is refunded only where the return is because of our error, or where the order was cancelled before dispatch. A promotional discount applied to an order is refunded proportionally to the items returned.

If anything is wrong with an order, contact us first. Nearly every problem is resolved faster directly than through a payment dispute, and we will correct a genuine error on our side without argument.

Opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank before contacting us freezes the funds with the card issuer for the length of its process, which is usually far longer than a refund takes, and it limits us to responding through the issuer rather than fixing the problem directly.
