Description
Thiol-bearing tripeptide composed of L-glutamate, L-cysteine and glycine, joined through a gamma-glutamyl amide bond. Reduced form (GSH), in which the cysteine thiol is free rather than disulfide-linked as in the oxidized dimer GSSG. Supplied as lyophilized powder for in-vitro research applications.
